TransitX Labs plans research in transit, accessibility and electric vehicles. Its public software checks transit schedule data and explores vehicle fleet data.
Areas we plan to research include:
- Transit, walking and cycling
- Accessibility and fairness in transport
- Electric vehicles and fleets
- Transport simulation and planning
- Longer-term concepts for travel on land, in the air and on water
Longer term, we plan to study electric aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOL), precise landing methods and concepts for vehicles that travel on land, in the air and on water. These are future research ideas.
